Report on Alex Leger’s Talk at The Globe Malthouse on his time with Blue Peter on 5 October 2017

Alex was the Producer at Blue Peter for over 40 years and was the brains behind many of the adventures experienced by the Blue Peter Team.  It was he who got John Noakes to climb Nelson’s Column all those years ago.  Alex’s talk was brilliant and really well attended and thank you for the Globe for providing the venue, Jim at Topsham Wines for providing the wine and Wilkinson Grant for sponsoring the event.  Thanks also to Joy Lovett and her eager band of helpers. We raised over £353 after expenses.
